Surf Dive N Ski Ink New Three Year Deal To Remain Australian JuniorTitles Naming Rights Sponsor

Surf Dive N Ski will remain the naming rights sponsor for the Australian Junior Surfing Titles until at least 2019 after signing a new three year deal with Surfing Australia, continuing their great support of Aussie junior competitive surfing.
The stunning beaches and backdrop of Victoria’s Phillip Island will play host to this year’s Surf Dive N Ski Australian Junior Titles from November 26 – December 3, before the competition is to be rotated to New South Wales in 2017 and South Australia in 2018.
“At Surf Dive ‘n Ski we believe in nurturing the future of surf by supporting key grass roots events, competitions and junior athletes,” said Surf Dive N Ski General Manager David Keay.
“We are stoked to remain the Australian Junior Surfing Titles naming rights sponsor for a further 3 years, continuing our engagement and investment in this country’s emerging talent.”
Six States are represented at the titles across Under 14, 16 and 18 age groups in both boys and girls divisions at the event that is considered the benchmark of junior surfing in the country. The Australian School Surfing Association Titles will be part of the event again in 2016.
The 2016 Surf Dive N Ski Australian Junior Surfing Titles will determine the selection of all positions on the Australian Junior Surf Team for the 2017 ISA World Junior Surfing Championship.
Surfing Australia CEO Andrew Stark said: “We are stoked to continue our fantastic partnership with Surf Dive N Ski for the naming rights to the prestigious Australian Junior Surfing Titles for the next three years. They are a fantastic partner with a rich heritage in Australia and they genuinely believe in grass roots surfing which is evidenced by this continued commitment.”
“The SDS Australian Junior Surfing Titles will be held this year on the wave rich Phillip Island in Victoria which will provide the perfect variety of waves for competition. It’s a known quality surf location that we hope will deliver some excellent waves for the countries very best junior surfers.”
“We select our Australian Junior Surfing Team directly off the Surf Dive n Ski Australian Titles so it’s truly the pinnacle junior event in the country for U18, U16 and U14 surfers.”
With past winners including World Champions Steph Gilmore, Chelsea Hedges, Mick Fanning, Joel Parkinson, Mark Richards, Tom Carroll and Damian Hardman, a win in this year’s event is a legitimate stepping stone to world stage glory.
